Deactivation despite payment

I have made a payment of Rs 2500 vide receipt NO 22 on 27.01.2009 at Bangalore Residency Road AirTel Showroom but my line is still to be activated..Despite repeated phone calls to customer care nobody is in a position to care for a customer and they tell whatever they feel like. When I contacted a senior officer after great difficulty, she said AIRTEL do not have any office in Bangalore and Chennai Numbers cannot be paid at Bangalore.. It clearly indicated inefficiency on the part of the senior staff and if that is the case how do they encourage collection centre at other places officially. we suffer due to inefficiency on the part of AIRTE: L Staff and they want us to fax/scan receipt copies and send it to them.
