I had purchased an Airtel Data with post paid sim sim card in Sept 08. In October 08, It suddenly would not connect and frantic calls to sutomer service proved futile as I was shunted between Customer service and technical support. Customer service kept asking me to call up Techincal support as tehy dealt with data cared related problems and technical support kept asking me to call up customer service stating that it was a problem with the sim card and would only be handled by customer service. This has left me in a sorry state of not being able to meet deadline for an urgent mail I was to sent.

When I approached the Airtel store, they asked me to fill up another application form Whwn I asked for the reason, they diclosed to me stating that the connection was terminated due to negative address verification whereas the bills for the connection where reaching me. Really upset with the shabby treatment, I had returned the data card with the sim intact to the store manager.

The matter has been taken up with the Nodal officer who has not resolved the matter and refunded the money. It has been taken up with Appellate authority in Dec but has still not evoked a response.
