This is regarding wrong commitment made my Airtel to me, i had made an online request to buy Airtel IPTV on sunday (17th may) and i got a call from the concerned department on monday (18th may) they explained me everything and i liked and told them to change my existing broadband number (011450839XX) to IPTV and i had asked them how many days will it take to install the IPTV, they said it takes max 2-3 days. i then told if i give you the payment on saturday 23rd may then will you be able to install it by sunday 24th may, They said yes it would be installed on urgent basis for you, so the person came on saturday and took the payment (some1 called Ritesh Kumar) and i double confirmed from him for installation on sunday, he said sir, it will be installed 110% between 11am-1pm, I had again called Ritesh in the evening to confirm and he again said all the work has been done on the ports, as i would have planned my day accordingly and get it installed in front of me. i had to go somewhere around 2:30pm on sunday and i kept waiting till evening and the number of ritesh was also lost and i kept calling the customer care and firstly it took 20-30 to actually reach a person, then they say sunday there is no installation as its off, they said it will be done on monday 25th may, no one turned on monday and then i called the customercare again and i spoke to some1 senior called leenu something she also said it will be installed today at any cost and i thought ok, but monday also passed and no response, Today (26th may) i again called them wasting like 20-30 to get some1 on line to listen to my prob and then when some1 picks up the phone and say ur connection will be installed tomorrow, any1 would be pissed, i told him the whole story and he say with attitude u signed up for that date, i am sorry to say that at that time there was no date mentioned on the form, and then i spoke to some senior again and he got in touch with the technical department and i got a call from them saying it would be installed by 4 pm positively,

The whole point is that wrong commitment from your sales executive wasted alot of time and if he would have told me staightly then i wouldnt have been calling up customercare wasting my time, I must say that Airtel's service is not upto the mark as it use to be, DTH service for TATASKY is much faster and prompt. we have 3 TATASKY connections already, they always did it the next day or tell u the exact date when they will do it with execellent service
