I (Mrs Dimple Kadam) am an Airtel customer using a post paid connection under my husband's name - Mr Sanjay Kadam. Since the time I took the connection a year back i have been facing problems.
The main in over charge. I spoke to customer service about this on several occasions. Ultimately a complaint went to Pune office. I got a call from them and i was reimbursed on two occasions saying that it was an error on their part.
The main problem which i am facing now is that my credit limit is 900 Rs. and my usage is very high now my billing date is the 27th but if i go over my credit limit i see to it that i make a payment of at least 500 Rs to come within the credit limt so that the service do not get barred. This month my services were barred as my total usage ie billed and unbilled was 1100 Rs. On the 3rd June i made a payment of 600 Rs. so that my services could be unblocked as my payment due date is 15th of June so on or before the 15th i have to make a payment of 400 Rs which is my remaining billed amount. This had happened earlier too and after breaking my head over it with customer services they had admitted to their mistake and had unblocked the services.
I spoke to Mr Shahid Patel on the 3rd of June (He had spoken to me earlier in January too when they had over charged me and he had agreed to it and reversed 200 Rs. saying that it was an error). Mr Shahid agreed to it that what i was saying it right but as per company policy he cannot unbar the services.
I want to know that if my credit limit is 900 and i make a payment of 600 and my payment due date is 15th should'nt my services be put back on as i was informed it will be done by as customer service advisor. I still have 10 days to pay the balance of 400 Rs. If in case i do not pay it by the 15th then they are free to bar my service as again i will go over the credit limit but now that i have made a payment of 600 rs i am within the credit limit. Then why did'nt they block the services last month, also this happened a few months earlier and a supervisor apologised for this and then unbarred my services as i made a payment of 500 Rs at that time and later made a payment of the rest by the due date. I can surely make a payment of 400 rs now but now this is a matter of principle to me.
I have informed customer service that i will not be making a payment of the balance amount until this matter is resolved.
