Revision in Call Charges without any notification

The following mail was sent to nodal officer, Punjab.

I, Sahil jain, Have been using airtel mobile number '98153-27875' for quite a long time, under plan 325 which offered A2A 10 p/min, A 2 any other local mobile 50 p/min call rates.

I have been happily using this plan until recently. My bill was much higher than my expectation. Upon receiving my latest bill I checked my bill details online and was shocked to see the revised call charges i.e

20p/min A 2 A

65p/min A 2 any local mobile.

Sir, call rates were changed without duly informing me. This has led to undue harrasment and amounts to misrepresentation on airtel's behalf.

I called up customer care executives, and they told me that information regarding this was sent to all the customers. But I have received none, whatsoever. I have other friend also using the same plan and even she wasn't informed about this.

I am really feeling duped. I hope you'll take appropriate action regarding this and do the needful.
