Phonebook is not opening

I have samsung mobile SGH-E250 model, last week i bought new airtel prepaid sim, after activating the sim, the phonebook of the mobile is not working, when tried to open, it shows&-quot;entry empty", but when other sim cards are inserted, it works normally, now addind or opening the contacts list became impossible.help me.
