Airtel - Failed to provide broad band connection even after 15 days

I am Augustin Victor from chennai. I applied for Airtel broadband connection on 28th Aug 09 with [SEF No. CH 929095], through Anna nagar Airtel office. Handed over the application to the Airtel executive Mr. Murali, ph. no - 9789981538

and a Cheque for Rs.1000 and cleared from my Account.

After that I got the Verification call from Airtel on 5th September and he told that I would get the connection within 48 hrs.

8 days were passed, Still I have not got any connection from Airtel.

I called the representative many times, he is not even picking up the call.

I logged a complaint in customer service with Ref. No.: 24263974.

Already myself and my wife are using Airtel postpaid mobile connections.

But its a strange experience from Airtel. I lost my confidence with Airtel.

Now I am really frustrated and fed up.
