Activation of subscription service "Comedy Junction" without consent

Hi! I am using cellphone number 91 98677 98407. I had been receving some jokes on SMS's. After a period of about 15 days, I recieved a message containing instructions about how to continue or discontinue availing this service and the charges applicable. I then sent the necessary SMS's for discontinual of the service. It was observed that the procedure had been made so complicated and lengthy that one would end up frustrated. However, I sent the necessary SMS's. To my surprise, I recieved an SMS on 15.10.2009 stating "Your Comedy Junction service has been renewed & you have been charged Rs. 15 for 30 days. Call 543212908 TOLLFREE. Enjoy mast jokes.". This is a novel method of fleecing a customer off his money without his consent. It happens off and on. Prior to this, I had a dispute regarding the Missed Call Alerts which was not even addressed although I did not have the benefit of the service for a long time despite having been charged for it. It appears that AirTel has made it a practice to fleece their customers in this manner. Please take up this issue, since I am sure that many consumers who are not able to address these issues or take them up before the appropriate forum may be losing a lot of money in such cases.
