Cancellation of connection

I had requested for closure of my airtel number 9952031174 on 12/09. Full outstanding amount of 2895 was paid at the airtel outlet (Receipt number: 32-2063673). However I am getting calls from customer care telling that i have not requested for closure of account and have an outstanding of Rs.950 (Rental for 2 months). I don't even have the sim card with me for that number.
