Handset deactivated due to Invalid IMEI

Hi AIRTEL,

I have a Moto Razr V8 mobile phone. My handset has been deactivated by Airtel as Airtel is saying that my IMEI number is not valid and I have to get new IMEI by paying Rs 199. I think the data base of AIRTEL is not updated. I tried contacting the Mototrola helpline, but they have forwarded the IMEI numbers to all service providers. M/S BHARTI AIRTEL please look in to the matter and rectify your database.
