Prepaid connection not activated

On 1st april I had approached the R.G.Cellular Airtel shop at Golpark for changing my postpaid connection to prepaid connection. I paid my dues of Rs.4152 vide my customer account No 115-100423445, receipt no 115-01431073 .I was told by the staff one Ms Majumdar that it will get activ ated by 3rd April. TIll today i.3e. 4th april it has not been activated. After speaking to customer care services I was told by them to go to the shop and enquire from there and not from them. This has casued me a lot of wastage of time and money and also mental anguish.

I have also gathered by my experience that Airtel is adept in fleecing its customers and only believes in making money and not in providing service to its customer.

I therefore request your forum to take cognisance of my complaint and take strict action against Airtel
