Balance Reduction Without Usage
I am user of Airtel Cellular Service, no being - 9629104333. I use two nos. another Airtel 9944830135 is EC no. iam also a Retailer.
complaint is for 9629104333
My balance was reduced from Rs 130-140 to 1.17 paise for absolutely no reason in the month of May-16 . This event took place between 1tth to 22nd may.
1. On 17th of may itself I visited the local authorized Airtel outlet & they asked me to come the next day.
2. On being there the next day (18th May) I learnt there was no continue server. So I was again asked to come later.
3. 18th of May – The most common excuse & Register the Complaint. Through 198 Service. they Give 24 Hrs. but after 24 hrs Amount not credit.
4. During the same period I was making calls to register my complaint on the 404 (customer care Via EC no. 9944830135). Airtel has put a limitation on the no of calls that would answered by an Airtel executive (I guess it is 15 calls On That period on 1 week). My whole 15 - 20 calls got exhausted but I didn’t get an reply from them.
6. They have started THIS SHIT called “query by sms” where you have to mention your problem via a sms! WTF! Again my question remained unanswered. (ie., Server busy, Call after 24hrs, 5hrs, 4hrs, 2hrs & same server busy...
7. In the month of May I had lodged approximately 12 complaints. All executives told me that my problem would be solved in 48 hrs but those 48 hrs never came in the same month.
8. Now this was getting on my nerves so I really started to press the issue. THE AIRTEL CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WORSE THAN THE WORST THIRD GRADE LEVEL CUSTOMER SERVICE OF AN ORDINARY C-CLASS CO! Not only they lack responsibility & commitment but they are utterly shameless & manner less. On many occasions they asked to wait for 30 seconds & didn’t reply till 15 minutes. But I had nerves of steel & decided no matter what I want an answer! So used to switch the phone to speakerphone mode & continue my work. These customer care executives used to check every 3-4 minutes hoping that I disconnected but I didn’t & in the end they are shameless enough to cut the call. This happened 5-6 times. They also fooled me by saying they are transferring the call to higher authority, the call never got transferred to any person but IVR! In the month of MAY I had made roughly 10 complaints, complaint Nos being:
i. 17-May – I was told. Mistake from their end Amount would be credited to my account in 48 hrs.
ii. 18-May – On calling after 4 days I was told. Mistake from their end Amount would be credited to my account in 48 hrs.
iii. 19-may – On calling after 24 Hrs I was told. Mistake from their end Amount would be credited to my account in 48 hrs.
iv. 20-May – After 5Hrs again the same
v. 21-May – Same old story of 24 hrs.
6) 22-May - Again 2Hrs.
7) 22-May - Server Busy (2 Times Morning & Evening)
150 hrs (6Days) passed but I didn’t receive the credit.
