Lifetime prepaid card

I have been using a lifetime prepaid card for 2 years and more and I happened to travel to abroad due to official work for more than 10 months.

When I returned back to India I couldn't use my prepaid card and was told that Airtel has reissued my number to some other customer and this is part of their rules and regulations which the customer service agent couldn't locate in the document that was provided to us.

I only hope that my number is not in the hands of any illegal actvists or terrorists.

I have written a email complaint to the telecom giant but there is no response even after a month.

I am sincerely hoping that Airtel will revert such policies.
