1) I received the call from Airtel Digital TV for negative balance. I checked my account details in

2) I called up customer care no. The Customer Case executive told me following details.

When I purchased the digital TV STB with one year subscription at that time the 10 rupees of Punjabi top up free for three months was been subscribed on 12-April by dealer. That three months have been completed on 11-July and there have been passed four days for that they have charged to my account.

Customer Case executive had taken my request for cancellation for that free subscription the Order no is 4348936 and told me that I have to recharge at least 50 rupees otherwise my account would be suspended after seven days.

My compliant is that I haven't subscribed after free period and no one from Airtel digital TV has intimated me.

According to TRAI rule when any service has been charged after provided free period, the Operator should intimate the customer or stops the service.

Airtel digital TV hasn't followed any one.

So why should I pay for top up that I haven’t subscribed upfront.

It was the fault of Digital TV.

So My request to Airtel digital TV is that the charged should be reverted back.
