I have been an Airtel Digital TV subscriber since Feb'09 (customer ID 3000447740). Recently I needed a second multi TV connection for my other TV. When I approached the Airtel Relationship Centre (ARC) at New Friends Colony, I was asked to dish out Rs - though the multi TV connection costs only Rs 1750. Another ARC at Sector 14, Noida noted down my number and address but have not got in touch with me though it has been 10 days. In such a scenario I was advised to buy the connection online by the customer care executives at 1800-102-80-80. I made 4 different calls on 25.09.09 on the number and was advised by all 4 CCEs to buy the 1750 economy offer as there was NO way to buy a multi connection online. They all said the company will automatically generate a multi connection as the customer name and address were same.
On 27.09.09 however I was informed that a separate connection has been issued (customer ID 3001559014). On informing the CCE again on the toll free no. I was asked to get the new connection installed by an executive and later Supervisor Vijeta submitted a service request no 1123292 and assured me that the connections will be clubbed by 30th September. Since then, I have been given two more service requests 1142101 & 1161154 but no action has been taken by Airtel; neither against the ARCs nor for clubbing the two connections. I am watching the economy offer while I should be availing the Mega pack like my earlier connection. Please bear some pressure on the Airtel authorities because it is evident that customer service means nothing to them apart from issuing service requests.
