I had opted for de-installation from my old address at Bangalore 560043 to new address at Bangalore 560048 with all details on 28th October. I received a call on 28th Oct 10 when I had informed them that I shall be at my old address any time after 1 hr and accordingly I went there at 5 pm as they told to be there between 5-6 pm. Waited till 7.45pm but no one turned up. Again contacted on 29th when I was told that they will come by 5 pm I waited but in vein again gave another time of 30th but did not turn up. On 31st Oct. I contacted and I was informed that someone will come at around 6 pm I waited from 5.15 to 6.45 pm and again contacted when I was told to come on 2 Nov.10 at 2.30 pm I took time off from office and went there at 2.15 p.m. but no one came or contacted and at 4.30 I contacted again when I was told that someone will come definitely before 6.0 pm. I waited till 6.30 pm and contacted them as no one came when I was again told that some one would come the next day. Since I had taken all my belongings from old place to new place, I told them that I would not carry the dish and I am taking the set top box and remote with me and they have to take care of the dish antenna now. Every day they would give some excuse and give some other time and date and finally it has reached the extreme when they have given the name of the engineers name and mobile nos as Mr. Pradeep Kumar for de-installation & when I contacted the number given it was a false number and Mr. Vinod Kumar for re-installation with a mobile number and when I contacted Mr. Vinod Kumar, he said he has left the job of airtel two months ago. Although I was told that Mr. Arun Kumar is the Nodal Officer in Bangalore for Airtel Digital TV, he was never present in the office as confirmed by the staff on several occasions I contacted them, and one Mr. Aditya came on line when I insisted to the exec. speaking to me from Nodal Office that I want the higher officers to intervene and I will not hung up. Again I got a call from a Delhi No.(011 Code) by Mr. Vikash (as told to me by him) yesterday i.e. on 5.11.2010. I need to cancel the Airtel connection and want the money of the dish and connection along with other expenses incurred with compensation for the mental torture, programmes missed etc.
