Delay in deactivating Black berry Service

I am so frustrated with Airtel customer service. I have moved to Gurgaon from bangalore. I have made repeated requests to Airtel for deactivation of my blackberry service plan from my bangalore no. 9972596772. First request made by me was on August 26th. 22 DAYs over and i still continue to get msgs from them that they are working on my request and i continue to pay for the service which i am not using.

I have taken new Airtel connection at Gurgaon with Blackberry service hence i dont need bangalore service.

I dont understand why it should take them so long to deactivate a service.
