Hi,
I got a phone call from Airtel (by name Ms Nikita, Cell: 9867046727) regarding Gold Add on card on 24-6. She told me I would get last five digits same in my new number. I purchased the card on that sole condition. It DIDNOT happen. Next day I got phone call from her colleague, Mr. Vaibhav to inform me I will have to select another choice number.
Nikita told me she would send me my money back if the card is not activated within two hours of selection of the new number. In fact the card was not activated for about 10-11 days. For all these 11 days I was trying Nikita's number but she did not pick. I had tried about 25 times on 4-7 but she did NOT answer even once.
I had made complaint to Airtel 121 and have complaint number 17246317 dated 25-6 but so far it is not resolved. Airtel customer service called up and I gave her Nikita's number to check and she assured to get back but no one from Airtel Customer Service called back after this.
When I went to Airtel Gallary today, they said they won't pay back te SIM card cost which that lady (Nikita) had received by making false statements/committments in any case.
Can someone help me recover my money? Though it is small amount but such recovery might teach Airtel a lession after many such recoveries take place.
