I have a simple issue that was, is and probably would continue to happen.. I'm not getting the proper network in my cellphone in Bangalore, India.

My complaint numbers raised in November are:

19174468 (on 7th November)

19292233 (on 14th November)

It is disgusting to realize that airtel has not bothered to rectify these issues from the past 5 Months and after repeatedly calling the airtel customer care, the guys in the customer care put a smile into their voice

and tell me that the "technical" team is working on the same.

My calls started getting dropped. I thought it might be an one off issue and raised a complaint. No updates et all. I raised another complaint. I get a call from AIRTEL asking me whether "AM I NOW ABLE TO HEAR THEM

CLEARLY" and when I answered in the affirmative, the complaint was CLOSED! WTF?

From the past 3 days, I have been in touch with the customer care almost 18 times. Spoke to a couple of executives, got my call escalated to a floor manager, Mr. Azharuddin. He asked me to check my simcard in a different cellphone or get a duplicate simcard. I was told the same by another floor manager Ms. Poorna. No bloody change in the status. I paid 75/- and got a duplicate sim card putting in all my genuine trust in these people and thinking that my issue will be solved.

I was also advised by the customer care center, here in Basaveshwaranagar, Bangalore to check the issue with a different cellphone to find out if the issue was with my cellphone. The issue was not with my cellphone.

I had a call again with another floor manager after trying 4 times to reach airtel's toll free helpline 121. Whenever the call got connected, it used to get dropped. Though the same was noted by the customer care executives, none of them were actually realizing that the calls getting dropped was my concern. Talk about BEING DUMB HERE!!!

This floor manager, Mr. Sathish, who handled my last call, is cool enough to tell me that the issue has been "recognized" and he assures me that it would be solved definitely by April End. If that is the case, I have just a

few questions to ask:

WHY THE BLOODY HELL WAS THIS NOT INFORMED TO ME EARLIER?

WHY WAS I MADE TO GET A DUPLICATE SIMCARD?

UPDATE: I get a mail from their customer care center, which asks me to furnish all the details again, the same details which I have been furnishing to their call center executives. The best / worst / dumbest part is that this customer care executive who has mailed me has got my cellphone number wrong.. HE DID NOT UNDERSTAND MY EMAIL!!!
