Hi I would like to bring to the notice of the person or whoever sees to the complaints written by the airtel users. Before i had the airtel connection i thought that it was the #1 prepaid connection but once i started using it i was very well known to me that airtel is one of the most worst mobile connection provided to users in termes of customer care services and in terms of each and every service which the airtel company provides. I am very unhappy with the kind of service provided.
What happened was when i took the airtel connection as all my friends and family members had the same i applied for the prepaid connection for which i had to provide the documents and after that my prepaid service was started not more than a week was over and i received a message from airtel that your documents are not received and your service will be disabled if documents are not provide within 48 hrs to nearest airtel branch
When i went to airtel branch they gave me a form to fill up and said that we require the same documents again and your service will be started. After i provied the documents they said you are not a resident of the city from where you bought the prepaid connection and so you need to provide an ID proof. I didn't understand that if i am a native of a city which is in Maharashtra and if i am buying a sim card from some other city within maharashtra by providing the necessary documents so why are they creating such an issue.
Also the other problem is that with the customer care service. It's one of the most Horrible and Worst service that i have come across. I did an E-Recharge of 98 for 10 paise calling on airtel to airtel phone number. The validity was for 6 months as per the shopkeeper from where i did the recharge. The service continued upto april 08/04/08 and was suddenly stopped. When contacted the customer care for 1st time they told your service is till on but you might have called a little early before 10 PM. as 10 paise calling starts after 10'o clock.when i told that particular person that everyday when it's 10 then only i do the calling but he was not listening and was going on telling one and the same thing. When tried for second time as still the problem was on this time some other person assissted and said that the service was deactivated. I really don't understand what type of service they actually provide.
