Harassment Calls - Undue Billing

Hello,
I had an Airtel Landline telephone No 41572597 for a period of one year. I shifted to the govt accomodation at Paschim Vihar (Sunder Apartments) and requested on customer care number to shift my telephone (4th June). They conveyed to me that it would take approximately 20 days for shifting to my new accomodation. I waited for appr one month and the telephone was not shifted. I received the first call from Airtel Customer care sometime in the month of July about outstanding bill for the month. I told the person on line that the phone is on shift and has not been shifted to my accomodation by then. They said that they would get back on the issue. Next call I received again next month in August when I made a written communication to Airtel through email. They sent a confirmatory mail of receipt and never got back. Every month thereafter I was receiving a collection call for Rs 1200 that I had been billed for the month of June- July. This is leading to a lot of harassment for a petty amount of Rs 1200. The amount is not significant, however, I would like to fight against such fundamental issues with such faceless office and arrogant call handlers at the service provider level.
