Non activation of mobile connection

Dear Sir,

About 3 weeks back I purchased a AIRTEL mobile connection from a shop of Jaipur near Malviya Nagar,

National Institute of Technology, JAIPUR. And this number was allotted : 9799348836.

- This mobile is intended for my son who is studying in Jaipur, Malviya National Institute of Technology.

- I am a Government of India officer working as a scientist in a scientific ministry of Government of India- having an identify card which is issued by the Home Ministry, supposedly one of the best respected identity card in the country. This was given as identity proof. In spite of repeated reminders to the shop, the number have not been activated.

- In the mean time a copy of the passport of my son was also given to the shop. This is causing a great harassment to us, there is great problem in communicating with my son.

- I request you to look into this and activate the connection immediately.

- Also please compensate us adequately for the harassment and inconvenience caused to us.
