I bought Airtel Mobile Office card for 395 Rs on 8th July. Due to technical problems at Airtel GPRS, I had submitted 2 -3 complaints to their customer care. Finally I received an SMS from their end on 14th July that the problem is rectified and I should be able to use the mobile office.

Ideally I expect their system to recognize the inconvenience caused by this delay and allow me to use the service for said duration of 30 days, which is till 14th August.

However, I received an SMS from Airtel on 6th August that my Mobile Office connection validity would end on 8th August. When I called the customer care on 7th August, they simply refused to act on my request and declared that my connection would end on 8th August. No logical assessment of the problem is made by them and the customer service executive ended the call by mentioning that if you wish to continue to use this service then you need to buy another top up of 395Rs for 30days.

Should customer's genuine problem be neglected this way? What can be done to take corrective action in this regard?
