Airtel Postpaid
Prepaid to postpaid conversion

Hi,
It is almost 4 weeks and my request to convert my Airtel prepaid connection to postpaid is not yet processed. Everytime I contact the person from whom I got the connection or Airtel Customer Service, I get a reply saying wait for 24 to 48 hours.. Got damn you guys it is almost 4 weeks now... how many days still to go??? The rep who sold me the postpaid connection says that Airtel is migrating to a new s/w which is delaying this process.. can't believe that a company like Airtel needs so much time to migrate their s/w's and they don't even have a backup plan.. I asked my Sales rep to refund the deposit amount and he says he has no prob doing that but it would land me in prob id the post paid connection gets activated.

Hi Manasa
I think your 24 hours are over. Do we have any resolution yet I think it would make sense for me to convert this number into lifetime prepaid and switch to any of your competitor for postpaid connection. It does not make any sense to wait for 4 weeks to get a postpaid connection.
