Airtel providing bad Prepaid Service

Hi,
I am experiencing a bad service from Airtel and Airtel Customer relationship center. I had purchased a campus sim of Airtel in February'09.
It given good service for 1-2 weeks. After that it stopped the outgoing calls. When I contact to Customer Care he replies your address verification is negative,
so you have to submit documents again. I had submitted the documents again at Airtel Customer relationship center in Hadapsar, Pune on 16th March.
After that, till date it not to be activated and when I dial that number it shows number not in use.
Again I visited Airtel Customer relationship center in Hadapsar, Pune on 31st March they told me we had sent your documents to main office.
And now the number is deleted from system database. You have to purchase new sim card with new number and new plan. I had purchased
that sim with cost of Rs. 500. What's going on about Airtel service? Please reply me ASAP and suggest me what I have to do further?
I want that number with same old campus plan.
