Ownership of a SIM

I had purchased one SIM under my name four years back and had also submitted the related documents.

Today when I called customer care, upon telling my name I came to know that the SIM had not been registered under my name.

It has been 4 years and it would be very diffficult for me to change my SIM and impossible to change my name.

Please look into the matter and help me solve this problem.
