GPRS activated is not working but amount is deducted

My no. is 9890306446, I had activated GPRS on 25/06/08 at 23.30 hrs. It got activated on 26/06/08 at 8.30 hrs. but i am not able to use it. my account is deducted with 15 rs. when contacted to customer care they said that it will start working from 28/06/08. but my daily charges will be deducted till then. is it my mistake that i chose airtel for my phone. Now i cant use GPRS and still my talktime is deducted.
