Airtel Prepaid Connection
Airtel activates mobile without papers upto 30 days

I am working in PSU. I applied for Airtel prepaid no. 9006326898 thru M/s Kumar Enterprise at Begusarai and dealer has send my filled form to Airtel alongwith all th necessary documents vide :

1. PEF no - 585265 dated 02.06.2008 &

2. PEF No. - 257524 dated 11.07.2008.

My no. was deactivated without any notice and on query they informed that They didn't receive my documents. I again sent in 1st week of Sept'08 and handed over to Airtel area incharge. Since then neither they activated my mobile nor refunding the balance ammount (~Rs.940.00).

On complaint to nodal office, Bihar the reply is "On your complaint we have investigated & have found that we have not received your documents within a period of 30days, hence your number has been permanently deleted & cannot be restored."

It is quite surprising that Airtel activates the mobile no. withou papres upo 30 days. This is agreat threat.
