NO SIGNAL WHILE IN ROAMING

Its my airtel mobile number past one month before it is a vodafone number i have change into airtel via mobile number portabilty, while travel to roaming im not getting any signal it shows emergency calls only not able to make and receive calls while in roaming if some one calling means it says this number is SWITCHED OFF but i dont off, now im in roaming only (BANGALORE) my cell is not switched off, now also im facing this problem, nobody helping with this in airtel complaint given 2 times but no response in AIRTEL customer support, i dnt what to do.. im totally upset.. no calls from my parents and my job related.. i think i made mistake that changed to airtel..
