Sir,
I have booked an IPTV connection in Delhi, at home, on June 01st.
From the date and time of installation, i have had problems and complaints - which are not being attend to.
01. The night (not day) the installation took place, the installation person, came and installed the system in a tearing hurry. He was more interested in getting home rather than settling the system. He commissioned the iptv connection using MTNL provided modem. I asked him as i was already having a MTNL broadband connection and my own modem, he should use the same and configure all the services on that. To this he said that him modem was special and mine woudl not work. Not being a technical person i agreed to what he said. The iptv started working fine. But, the broadband internet did not. The moment he changed the modem, my internet service collapsed.
02. I made a complaint to the customer service to look into it. NOTHING HAPPENED.
03. I requested the MTNL internet supervisor, whom i knew personally - as i have been a broadband subscriber for quite a long time, to help me. He was certain that his responsibility was to make sure the broadband service worked through the MTNL line and nothing more. He was right. Anyway, as we knew each other, he came and rectified it as a favour.
04. A few days later i get a call from Aksh iptv customer care on "What is the problem? ". This is when i had already put my complaint to the customer care. And that too the call comes after a few days. The call came in the evening and i had some guests in the house and thus was busy with them. Also, my problem had been rectified by MTNL supervisor - so i asked to make contact later.
04. THAT NEVER HAPPENED.
05. On June 18th- i lodged a complaint stating that the "iptv was not working - the initialization process is failing". I was given to understand that the company takes 24 hrs to 48 hrs to have the person attend to the complaint. I did not understand the logic of such a long time, but accepted it as its their company policy.
06. Today, June 22nd, 09, as i write this note, the complaint has not been attended to. In this duration i alongwith my wife have spoken to Customer Care more than six times. All the times we have spoken - its been promises and only promises that the complaint would be attended to. Nothing has happened.
07. When i have asked to speak with the attending persons supervisor- i am told (boldy and with arrogance) that the customer cannot be give the numbers and names of their seniors. This is company policy. The customer who is paying for the service and whose problem is not being attended to, cannot have access to the people who run the business.
08. THIS IS THE WORST EVER CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I HAVE COME ACROSS IN MY LIFE. THERE IS JUST NO ACCOUNTABILITY WITH ANY ONE. IT IS A RUDDERLESS SHIP.
09. CAN ANYONE IN INDIA HELP ME THROUGH THIS, .
