Sub: Notice regarding the change of Item with Basic Manufacturing Defect.

Dear Sir;

Please take notice to change the totally defective Item Purchased from your shop.

I have purchased an INDICA CAR cover Make AKT IPEX (P) Ltd, 264-H Hastsal Indl. Area Uttam Nagar, New Delhi 110069, PKD on 07/09 MGT- 1590824. Costing Rs. 360. on 16/08 invoice no. 2060003810 at 17:08 HRS. Total Bill amount was Rs. 4829.

Now the product sold by you is not of the proper size of Indica Car made by TATA. It is quite short and it can not be anyway fitted to any INDICA made by the TATA group. The product design is faulty and can not be used for the purposes it has been intended for.

When I wanted to get it replaced with a correct one, your sales person told that it is in short supply and the same will be changed in a week or two. When again after that time the person contacted for change, it was again asked that u please get it change after a week’s time. How many time a person should go. They said there will be no refund of money. Finally on 13/09 it was asked to give a replacement with another item, say sugar or detergent powder or anything, they told us that it can not be changed anyway. The sales person has asked his senior and they told that it can not be changed due to delay. The delay because of your sales person which changes with day by day. There are many sales persons on the shop. Why do you delay. You should have stated the same on the day one.

The product should be designed to cover the TATA INDICA CAR. But its TOO TOO short. Don’t you understand that it’s a cheating with the customer to sell a wrong product and thereafter refusing for the same to change or replace. With a corrected one. Whet one will do with a product of NO USE. Is this your customer support policy???

Where is the trust of ADITYA BIRLA GROUP???

IS it the way to deal with the customer.???

Please take notice to Pay Rs. 360/- for completely faulty product.

Rs. 200/- for to & Fro expenses for 4 round to your shop.

A suitable compensation for speed post and other expenses.

Please reply in written within 7 days of this letter failing which the matter will be taken to the consumer forum.
