Inordinate delay in the payment of cheques

I have submitted a cheque of Rs. 60, 000.00 of ICICI Ashok Nagar Indore chaeque No.964458 on 6th of may to Allahabad bank Barra branch Kanpur (My father's account). There is inordinate deley by the bank in the payment of the cheque. I have inqured about the balance on 24th may but money is not transfered to my father's account, but the My ICICI bank statement says that money has been transfered to Allahabad bank on 14th may.

Due to this inordinate delay in payment, i have been facing a lot of problem.
