Non-Delivery of full Truckload of Household goods

I made the terrible mistake of giving my Household Packing and Moving contract (Gurgaon to Bangalore) to Allied Packers and Logistic on 5/3/09, and have experienced the most serious catastrophe, i.e. complete Non-Delivery of my Consignment. 20 days later, their Head Office in Mahipalpur, Delhi seems to have lost contact with their delivery Truck in Bangalore, and I have lost all hope of seeing my belongings again! Nothing is being done by them to retrieve my belongings.

For last 15 days, I have been through a nerve-racking ordeal at the hands of this absolutely Fraud company&--gt; First they detained my consignment for 1 whole week in their warehouse, then after a lot of frantic phone-calling, they claim to have sent it out, but en route they claimed their Truck broke down, and they took 3-4 days to repair it, and after it reached Bangalore, they seem to have re-loaded my stuff into a wayward Truck that has lost contact with the head office, and has vanished with my entire consignment, somewhere in Bangalore!! Meanwhile, the Head Office staff is acting evasive and lying low.

This has to be THE worst Moving Packing company in the country. I have lost a whole Truckload of Household items and Furniture, and needless to say am feeling totally shattered. I will be taking serious action, but I know even that will probably not get my belongings back. I have previously contracted (4 times) other Packing Moving companies, big and small, for moving stuff between Delhi and Bangalore/ Chennai, but NEVER had a disaster of this magnitude.
