To know the details of my Pension and Allowances in the light of Sixth Pay Commission for Central Government employees and pensioners

Sir,

This is to request you to let me know the details of my pension and the allowances for which I am eligible in the light of the Sixth Pay Commission which have not been supplied to me in spite of repeated requests to concerning offices. The points are as follows:-

1. My basic pension on 01-01, my previous pension on that day being Rs. 3639.00

2. DA on it from 01-07

3. Special pension – Rs. 142.00 as I retired on November 30, 1985 i.e. between September 1985 and December 1985.

4. Old age allowance of 20% w.e.f 12-11 as I attained the age of 80 years on that day.

5. Sum total of all these on 01-09.

6. Arrears after deducting the amount already paid during this period.

About my pension the table prepared by the Sixth Pay Commission for pensioners has this to say –

B.P. Pre 2006 without DP B.P. pre 2006 with D.P. Revised consolidated pension on 01-01

Rs. 3639.00 Rs. 5459.00 Rs. 8226.00 DA w.e.f 01-07

Spl. Pension of Rs. 142.00

20% old age allowance w.e.f. 12-11 on

being 80 years old on that day.

7. The pension entry in my pass book for September is Rs. 7732.00, but the pension entry in my passbook for October is Rs. 7635.00. The reason for paying Rs. 97.00 less in October.

8. On 12-11 I shall be 83 years old. Please expedite sending the requested information and oblige because for a man of my age time age uncertain but very precious.
