Regarding service charge by your dealer M/s Indus Motots - Palakkad

Dear Sirs,

I have Purchased Maruthi ALTO in the year December from your Palakkad dealer M/s Indus Motors, so far I have no complaints on the vehicle. On 23-04 I had informed the dealer that vehicle is not starting. Dealer sent the service person with the spare Battery, when he was trying start the vehicle found that the battery which he brought is also very weak, hence I had managed from my friend’s vehicle (which is also ALTO) battery and started the vehicle and given my car to dealers place for charging. Next day dealer informed me that Battery is very weak and can not be used any more, and advised to go for new one. I had informed the dealer that I will arrange the battery outside for that I had to pay Rs 165-45 as against their Invoice no.: JC09000462d/24.04.2009 .

I now would like to bring one more incident to my vehicle also which is happened on 10-04 when, I went to Coimbatore along with my family. On that day around 8.30 AM while driving near to the place called Thudiyalur, when I applied Accelerator engine was raising, hence I had to call your dealer M/s AMBAL Auto, they informed me that service person will reach around 9.00 AM. Promptly they reached the spot, and found that mounting Screws of Accelerator wire (where mounted) is loose, immediately it was tighted and the vehicle was alright.

Why I am comparing these two incidents now, is that when I have not taken the delivery of the vehicle from AMBAL Autos-Coimbatore, to my request service person came to the spot with out any delay and after service even when I asked " should I pay for the repair charges, he said no Sir". Where as dealer who should give a very good service is not even bothered to 1) bring a good Battery to start the vehicle 2) in addition to that I have to arrange the Battery to start the vehicle and 3) with all this services Indus Motors in charging Rs 165/- also for the so called service (the amount is big but the Policy and service)

Hence, I only wanted to know what is the service level agreement through out India, will it differ from state to state (or) person to person. Therefore I expecting your reply immediately and clarify the above points.
