Overbilling

It is to bring to your notice that ae detailed above, vide the scanned copy of the Invoice, we had purchased some snacks at your counter on the Domestic Airport at Chennai.

To our surprise the food items displayed at the counter and purchased by us, were billed to us along with the items for which we had not given any order. Thus we were unduly charged excessively. When we asked the reason for the same, your personells explained that the items were sold on Combo Scheme. However, this was not informed to us at the time of placing the order. So, therefore, we were unknowingly charged for item no. 5 & 8.

This resulted into excess billing of Rs. 231/- and Rs. 214/-. Furrther at the time of refunding cash, the counterperson gave us Rs. 11/- short, which however, they returned back when pointed by us. Furthermore, they included in our Bill the value towards item no. 13 i.e, Chicken Puff for which we had not ordered. When pointed out, they told that they had only included the same in the Bill but while deducting cash they excluded the same from our Bill amount. There were no pricetags / slide to indicate the value of the items. These irregularities and undue practices of overcharging are highly unexpected at your esteemed counters.
