Cheque Deposit - A/c Freezed

I, Anant Sharan Mishra have saving a/c (039601000384) at South Extn, New Delhi branch.

On Sept. 09 at 7:30 PM, I deposited cheque of HDFC bank with cheque number (315673) valued Rs. 15, 722.00 at Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi, Branch.

On Sept. 13, I wanted to withdraw but could not as my above said deposited cheque was not cleared.

I immediately rushed to Lajpat Nagar then South Extn. New Delhi branch where I was suggested to wait till Sept. 15 so I did.

On Sept. 16 I called to Customer Care (9818178000) as situation was same, i.e. my a/c was not credited against my above said deposited cheque, instead the Customer Care Executive told me that MY A/C IS FREEZED (DISABLE) but could not justified the satisfactory reasons.

Meanwhile, I was not informed by Bank about my a/c status.
