APC INVERTER 800va
Feeling cheated

I had taken my inverter two years back by paying 14000 when other inverters were available at cheaper rates ..but i though APC was a better company. But i was miserably wrong. Within two months i started problem with the unit. I made many complaints .i dont remember how many time my batteries were changed and how many times the unit was changed. I have lost track. Initailly it was under warranty so i didnt have to pay but still suffer as we have regular power cuts in our area (nerul navi mumbai). AFter that it was onn chargeble basis. That too were only to loot the customer. The service center is just 15 kms away from my house but still the engineer (thats what they are called though they dont look like one) takes Rs.250 just to come home. If the unit is faulty he takes it to his office for repair and then God save u with their punishment of charges. I feel totally cheated by te leaders in power solution (well that what they call themselves).

I have now decide to throw this unit in junk and but a normal inverter like MICROTEK which my neighbours have installed and they have no problem with it for more that 2 years. I just would like to tell customers not to go by brand name before buying ant atleast APC.
