This happened for me while browsing TV channels during the interval of world cup time on 30.06.2010 between 00.00 am and 2 am, got attracted by a competition show of India TV "GUESS THE CRICKETER" and win Rs.60000/-.

They were showing a partially hidden photo of renowned cricketer Mr. Virendar Sehwag and soliciting to guess it for a price amount of Rs.60000/- by calling a phone number 5664411 which is Rs.10/minute.

I had tried many number of times (9 calls) for almost an hour altogether and they charged me for approximately Rs.600/- in my vodafone account. my vodafone number is 9745624800. Details can be submitted once the bill is generated for proof.

Call to this number will get connected to thier automatic answering machine as soon as the number is dialed without any ring or engaged tone. After getting connected to answering machine they will keep us on hold for ever giving fake promptings that piority will be given to the person who is holding, next chance might be yours, wait for the sweet moment etc etc.first few calls I disconnected in few minutes and the last call I kept connected for 35mins.

i doubted fraud because no callers guessed this simple question correctly and were guessing wild answers nowhere related to the photo they were exibiting. If i can identify this cricketer i am sure cricket fans can defenitely identify him. lately they disclosed more face area and reduced the pice money to Rs.10000/- and a caller identified, that made me felt it is preplanned.

But now I dont think i have to describe this much when i noted that you have already received lot of complaints against this. Please stop this fraud and if you found me genuine to prevent further loss of money of poor viewers.
