Revealing rape victims identity-photo&name

Hi,

I was watching India Tv in 12pm news on 14th march. In that section there was a news regarding Indian student who was studying in Australia had been raped.they were revealing all the identity of the victim including her name, place, even photo.i was shocked to see that. I think its common practice not to reveal such things in the media.i shuffled over another news channel unfortunately they were also showing the same news. but they were not showing any of such thing. and that channel was star news.

I have seen this type of differences in a 5min of time period. Its always been a debate over Noida based channels who should be more responsible cause there geological presence near Delhi. But always failed by ethics.just try to cash the news for popularity.this trend dosent seem to be stopping.

how come this news channel is so shameless? what if that girl happened to be presenters sister or daughter?

its very much wrong in all sense.news channels should be more sensible towards society. at lest leave the victims alone for gods sake.these types of news are just means of creating sensation (as they thought).but people and family who are suffering from this they dont get any justice from this.atlest no news channel can bring that to society.its shame.

authorities should look into this type of issues.this type of careless and shameless attitude should be punished.
