Not Received Subscription Gift

Subscribed to Good Housekeeping during June. As per the offer the subscription gift was to be delivered within 8-10 weeks. More than six months have passed and there is no gift in site.

Have spoken to thair Customer Care folks few times (last being on 6th October at 2:45pm with a lady called Simrit). Earlier thay said that the original gift is out-of-stock and we are procuring. Later thay said we could not procure the original gift and are waiting for your consent to send you a different one (!!! consent - they never called or wrote to me). When i said send whateever you have, i was told it will be dispatched within next two weeks. Another 3 months passed after that with no action.

I wonder how such so-called reputed companies are able to consumers for a ride...
