Respected Sir,
This mail is to get your attention towards the illegal or unauthorized hoarding that has been placed in the midst of residential area. Which is causing a lot of inconvenience to general public and common man in the area / locality.
Due to increased advertising and in greed to make more money, we have lot of people in Bangalore who are raising a lot of Illegal or unauthorized hoardings. Sometimes it results in fatal accidents like that of similar to Carlton Towers incident which occurred not less than 2 months ago.
The hoarding which has been put without permission or required safety measures, in now causing a threat to the passerby’s and the pedestrians. Twice the hoarding has come down crashing and luckily no one was hurt due to the gusty winds and rains in the past two days in Bangalore. I hope, necessary action is taken against the owners of the buildings who are put the hoardings which is a nuisance to common public. We have trusted the government and also the concerned officials who campaigned during BBMP elections hoping that common people like us, can walk boldly without fearing for advertising boards to crash on our heads. The illegal adverting board was removed before the BBMP elections came in. But the building owner has again put a huge hoarding now.
It is my kind and sincere request to do the needful before it is too late.
The illegal hoarding which I am reporting is located at the following address.
