Incapable of Fixing power failure

I am staying in 6th Block Koramangala, and it is very unfortunate to say that the power supply gets disconnected when ever it rains, and it takes a long time to resume. There was no electricity in 6th Block Koramangala 17th Main, 3rd cross for almost 18 hours from Friday evening to Saturday afternoon. We are living in a very very high tech city and the elecricity board is so much incapable of fixing the issues. This is very frequent and when ever we call them they say that in 1 hour current will resume and in most of the cases they wont even pick up the call. I just want to just away from this city. I have started hating Bangalore just because 6th Block kroamangala has become a village. Please do something or else suggest whom should be contacted for getting this issue resolved.
