Sub: Settlement of my Highly Inflated BRPL Electricity bill

Dear Sir,

This is regarding our complaint of Highly Inflated Bills for the months of Aug & Sep 2009 made to BSES, Adchini, New Delhi. In response to that, we were asked to deposit Meter Testing Charges on 19.09.2009 and the same were deposited immediately vide receipt no 40030013872 dated 19.09.2009. Further, the meter was tested at site on 14.10.2009. The new meter was replaced on 27.10.2009 and the old meter was taken for Lab Test.

The Lab test report of the old meter was received on 16.03.2010. We made our representation on 17.03.2010 vide receipt no 4230. On this representation, had asked for a Credit of 48570 KVAH units. Instead of giving Credit, we are asked to pay Rs 66380/- (Rs Sixty six thousand three hundred eighty) vide their Bill No 10000061901 (Due date 11.05.2010) for reasons best known to themselves. When we asked for the reasons, D.G.M. Mr A.P. Ram clearly told us that the Lab Test Report is invalid.

Now we humbly request you to please look into the matter and resolve it amicably.
