The worst government service

Chennai Passport office is the worst ever seen place in central government office. myself and my wife went and struggled a long in the queue to apply for spouse name update. There is no proper queue clearance security. no proper inquiry counter, no proper rules, no proper officials to guide people in the process.

We had to go the next day early in the morning 6:00 Oclock and we waited long with no food and tea. 9:30 is the counter opening time and the irresponsible officials came in at 10:15 and the crowd started to get unruly and there again was a mess.

When will this change??? will the Government officials improve their standards???

And after all process, the cashier said that the passport will be sent through postal and i have'nt received it yet.

Please privatize this operation. i don't mind spending extra 300 bucks, but i cannot waste 3 days of my office working hours.
