Unwanted Garbage Dumping at G.P. Madhavan street, Dharga Road, Zamin Pallavaram, Chennai

Hi,

Would like to bring into notice the growing problem of garbage dumping in the main road leading to G.P. Madhavan Street, Zamin pallavaram, Chennai. Its situated in WARD NUMBER 11 and comes in control of Pallavaram Municipality. The place lies scattered with garbages brought by people far and nearby which is really a bad scene. This place is also in the side of the main road leading to old pallavaram, keelkatalai and very near to the mosque. Also this place is surrounded by houses where smal children live but people close to this area cannot come out and stand in front of their house as the place is stinking due to improper waste being dumped on a unknown owner of a plot located beside the dumping place.

Weekly once the municipality workers come and clean the place but within hours the place would be again be the same and sometimes they just come and pile the garbages and burn and go. No Dustbins are provided & no actions are being taken on this even though its known to every officials from the Muncipality for reasons no known from the municipality's end.

High time that some of the authorities come and inspect the place and do some arrangement otherwise it would be untolerable for the residents staying near this.
