Applicability of Grade Pay & MSP

Sir,

Introducing myself i am Ex-Sgt 694670-G G Narasimha Murthy discharged from Service on 28 Feb. I wish to bring to you kind notice that at the time of discharge my Last Basic was Rs.4745/- as per the PPO. I was reemployed in the State of Karnataka Govt. as a Pre-University College Librarian in the pasy scale of Rs.4575 - 8000 in Apr.

As per the 6th CPC the Pay scales of all the Personnel have been revised and in addition to the Pay band of a Sergeant Grade Pay of Rs.2, 800/- and MSP of Rs.2, 000/- has been given and treated as Pay for all purposes.

Am I eligible for the Grade Pay and MSP in the rank I was serving, and claim the re-fixation Basic Pay including the Grade Pay amd MSP in the present department I am serving. If there is any such rule kindly intimte at the earliest.
