Inordinate Delay in Transfer of MIS Account

We Mrs Swapna Datta and Mr. Maniklal Datta submitted an application at Jhargram Post Office for transfer of our MIS Account No-13225 to Jadavpur University Post Office in Kolkata on 11.10.2011. Subsequently, we sent a reminder through Jadavpur University Post Office but unfortunately precious little has been done in the matter till date. It would not be out of place to mention that Mr. Datta is a senior citizen and retired officer and Mrs Datta, the house wife find it very difficult to visit to Post Office every week to enquire of the outcome of their transfer application and faces hardship for such apathetic attitude of the personnel of the Department concerned.
