Bill was not adjusted after a change of mete

Good evening, sir my name is khawar abbas and i live in sanjay nagar, ghaziabad.

Sir few months back our electricy meter suddenly started to show over load and ran very fast. We compalint about this in electricity department and they said to us that our meter will be changed with in a month time and till then allow your meter to run fast, and the current fast reading of your meter will be adjusted according to past average reading.

Eventually our meter was changed but the new bill that came to us was not adjusted and it was very high.

So when we enquire them about this issue they are sad that person who has changed our meter has not written in his report that our meter was running fast so bill will not be adjusted.

Sir please kindly help us in this issue.
