SETTLEMENT OF PROVIDENT FUND REJECTED

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to inform you that I had worked for IBM DAKSH, KOLKATA from 1st August to 5th March - more than SEVEN months and I had applied for settlement of the fund that was accumulated in my Provident Fund Account on 14th September. The delay was because I was unable to visit my previous office to collect the required documents from there and then submit it at the Provident Fund's Office due to time constraint. But I was shocked to receive a letter from the Emloyee's Provident Fund Organisation after more than 5 months and according to the letter " the claim has been rejected because of " LESS THAN SIX MONTHS OF SERVICE " which is absolutely ridiculous.

Kindly note that I have worked for more than 6 months and I have received a confirmation letter from my previous employer, IBM DAKSH as a result of completion of 6 months with the organisation. The claim form 10C was rejected and and the reason for the rejection is incorrect.

I would be obliged if you take the necessary action and help me in getting my due as soon as possible as I dont want to wait for another 6 months for the same.
